The DUALTRON ACHILLEUS from Minimotors is without a doubt one of the most powerful and most advanced electric scooters on the market. Its technical properties speak for themselves; an engine power of 4648 watts, a range of almost 80 km and a top speed of 80 km / h!
Minimotors is constantly trying to push the boundaries of electric scooter technology with its famous DUALTRON brand. The DUALTON ACHILLEUS is still one of the brand's most powerful scooters, but it also offers outstanding ride comfort. This model is equipped with two motors with 2300 watts each, which can reach a top speed of 80 km / h. You can activate or deactivate the twin-motor function with a button on the handlebar.
It has hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear for good braking. Driving comfort is guaranteed by an adjustable suspension front and rear. The lithium-ion battery develops 60 V / 35 Ah, which means that a maximum autonomy of around 80 km can be achieved (value on the road at an outside temperature of 20 ° C, with a driver of 75 kg on a flat stretch, and tested at a speed of 25 km / h).
Its battery is located in the footboard under the driver's feet and cannot be removed.

The electric scooter is delivered assembled in its box. However, you have to mount the handlebar by screwing it. The tool for this is included in the box. Installation only takes a few minutes. Remember to fully charge the electric scooter before your first ride. The charging time for this model is long, so it is advisable to order a second charger to cut the charging time by half.
The DUALTRON ACHILLEUS scooter comes with a 1.7 A charger, a tool kit, a remote control for LED lighting and an instruction manual.
To unfold the electric scooter; All you have to do is pull on the metal latch on the underside of the handlebars and unfold the scooter. Then close the lock as soon as the handlebar is fully extended.
This model also has a locking system on the handlebar that you have to adjust to your body height before your first ride. Remember to check regularly that these locking elements are properly tightened to avoid vibrations.
To switch on the DUALTRON ACHILLEUS electric scooter, press the "Power" button for 3 seconds. The display will light up immediately.
Driving speed, battery level, mileage and speed are shown on the display. Depending on the speed that you select by pressing the white circle, the electric scooter has different types of acceleration. However, it's more fun to put in a high gear and then adjust the speed with the finger throttle while driving.
To switch off the electric scooter, press and hold the "Power" button for three seconds.
With the "Mode" button you can change the display from mileage to odometer or to the battery voltage.
If you hold down the "Mode" button for three seconds, you will enter the submenu of the electric scooter:
P0 corresponds to the size of the wheel. With the DUALTRON ACHILLEUS, choose number 11 for 11 inches.
P1 corresponds to the voltage of the controller. On the DUALTRON ACHILLEUS there is a 60 volt controller.
P2 is the number of magnets in the motor, i.e. H. 15.
P3 must stay at 0
P5 is the start security. If you select 0, the scooter starts as soon as you operate the throttle. If you choose 1, you will need to physically propel the scooter before accelerating. The idea is to avoid accidentally starting the electric scooter.
P6 corresponds to "Tempomat". If you drive at a constant speed for 5 seconds, the scooter will stop at that speed until you apply the brakes. It is recommended to disable this feature.
P7 is the start acceleration type. You can adjust the engine power when accelerating. The higher the number (between 0 and 5), the smoother the acceleration.
With P8 you can limit the motor output. By selecting 5, you are limiting the speed of the scooter very significantly.
P9 is the battery saving mode. The higher the number, the more gently the scooter accelerates and limits the top speed.
PA stands for EBS or electronic brake. In mode 0 you have no electronic braking.
With Pb you can adjust the brightness of the LCD screen of the display.
PC is the time in minutes from which the DUALTRON ACHILLEUS electric scooter goes into sleep mode.
With Pd you can activate or deactivate ABS.
One of the special features of this model is the LED system integrated in the deck and steering column. An infrared remote control is supplied with the scooter. To ensure proper operation of the remote control when changing lights, it is important to aim at the base of the handlebar. This is where the recipient is located. Lights play an aesthetic role, but they also have the advantage of making you more visible when driving. The LED lighting can also be switched off.
In order to extend the service life of a lithium-ion battery, it is strongly recommended to keep the charge level of the battery between about 70% and 100%. Do not charge the battery when it is already full (do not leave it to charge overnight) and never discharge the battery completely. When you charge your scooter, be sure to connect the charger to the power supply before connecting the electric scooter.
If you store the electric scooter for several months, it is important not to fully charge the battery, but to store the electric scooter with a charge level of approx. 60%. Always store the electric scooter in a place protected from moisture and at a temperature of at least 5 ° C. It can take up to 20 hours to fully charge a DUALTRON ACHILLEUS. It is therefore strongly recommended to order a second charger to cut the charging time by half.
Charging a lithium battery should be done under adult supervision. It is also important that you charge your electric scooter away from flammable materials (fabrics, paper, liquids, etc.). You can find more information about maintaining your battery on our blog.
It is important to check the tightness of the screws and the brakes very regularly, but at least once a month, as a scooter is exposed to a lot of vibrations while driving. Also remember to check the tire pressure regularly. With this model, it is advisable to inflate the tires to a pressure of 3.5 bar (50 PSI). Your electric scooter is cleaned with a damp sponge. Please note that this model is not waterproof. Do not use water or cleaning fluids for maintenance.
