The VMAX R25 Wheel I Am electric scooter offers great equipment at a very competitive price. Front and rear suspension, disc brakes on both wheels, large 10 inch inflatable tires. The scooter can be easily folded. Offers an autonomy of approximately 35 Km with it's 48 V / 10 Ah Lithium battery. An unlocked version without homologation reaching a top speed of 30 Km/h is also available.

1. Technical characteristics:

Its powerful 500 watt motor will allow you to reach a speed of 20 km/h maximum in the version approved for Switzerland, but up to 30 km/h in the unlocked version. The VMAX R25 has a 48V (10 Ah) battery that can achieve a range of approximately 35 kilometers on a single charge. Short or long journeys, flat roads or slop journeys are yours!

The VMAX R25 has a solid aluminum frame and a very wide footboard: the charging socket located under the footboard makes loading the scooter quick and easy. Regarding its load weight, it is 120 kg maximum. The VMAX R25 also offers pleasant driving comfort thanks to its front and rear suspensions, its handlebars that are wider than other scooter models (and which can be folded up), or even its color screen displaying all the useful information during your journey. For added safety, the scooter also has powerful headlights at the front and rear - with turn signals on the sides.

2. Operating instructions:

How to assemble the electric scooter:

Place the scooter on the ground, press the folding lever down and pull the handlebars up until it clicks into place. Close the safety lock to secure the handlebars, then fold the handles upwards (until they click into place).

Secure the detached components with the supplied tool kit: make sure that they are mounted flush with the handles so as not to block the two snap-locks (allowing the handles to be folded down). Open the quick release, extend the handlebars to the desired height, then close the quick release.

How to unfold / close the electric scooter:

To fold the scooter, open the quick release and push the handlebars down to the stop. Then pull the two snap-locks, then fold the handles down before releasing the safety lock. Then pull the folding lever before gently lowering the handlebars until the folding lever automatically engages.

How to charge the electric scooter:

Before using your electric scooter for the first time, fully charge the battery and do not interrupt the charging process. To get started, make sure your scooter is turned off, and be careful not to turn it on during the charging process.

Then connect the charging plug to the charging socket of your scooter, before connecting the charger to the mains using the appropriate plug. While charging, the charger indicator is red, and turns green when the battery is fully charged.

3. Maintenance and care:

How to care for the battery:

In order to extend the service life of a lithium-ion battery, it is strongly recommended to keep the charge level of the battery between about 80% and 100%. Do not charge the battery when it is full (do not leave it to charge overnight), and never discharge the battery completely. When you charge your scooter, be sure to connect the charger to the power supply before connecting the electric scooter.

If you store the electric scooter for several months, it is important not to fully charge the battery but to store the electric scooter with a charge level of approx. 60%. Always store the electric scooter in a place protected from moisture and at a temperature of at least 5 ° C.

It can take up to 5 hours to fully charge a VSETT 8. It is therefore recommended to order a second charger in order to cut the charging time in half. Charging a lithium battery should be done under adult supervision. It is also important that you charge your electric scooter away from flammable materials (fabrics, paper, liquids, etc.). You can find more information about maintaining your battery on our blog.

4. Maintenance and care:

General maintenance of the electric scooter: It is important to check the tight fit of the screws and the brakes very regularly, but at least once a month, as a scooter is exposed to a lot of vibrations while driving. Also remember to check the tire pressure regularly. With this model, it is advisable to inflate the front tire to a pressure of 3.5 bar (50 PSI).

Your electric scooter is cleaned with a damp sponge. Please note that this model is not waterproof. Do not use water or cleaning fluids for maintenance.
