Apollo reveals the new version of its famous Air model – the lightest of this Canadian brand, with its 14,6 kg. Offering great performance, the Apollo Air is equipped with a unique regenerative braking system and a 36 V / 15 Ah Lithium-Ion battery: enough to hit the road for nearly 50 km without having to recharge . The Apollo Air has, among other things, a 500 Watt motor, 10-inch inflatable tires for more comfort, and accepts a load weight of up to 120 Kg. This electric scooter is also available in an unbridled version (not approved for Swiss roads).

1. Technical characteristics:

Equipped with a 36 V / 15 Ah Lithium-Ion battery, this electric scooter has a special regenerative braking system: its powerful mechanical drum brake placed at the front helps you to stop quickly and with more comfort and efficiency. Thanks to this intelligent braking, as well as to the Lithium-Ion battery equipped with 21700 cells, you can travel up to 50 kilometers easily.

Very light (less than 18 kg) thanks to its aluminum frame and foldable in a jiffy, the Apollo Air is ideal for all commuters. Synonymous with comfort and stability, it is equipped with a dual front suspension system and large 10-inch tires to ensure a smooth ride.
Its screen integrated into the handlebars will allow you to quickly access the settings and consult essential information at a glance: battery level, speed, driving mode, etc.

On the safety side, the Apollo Air does not forget anything: with its integrated horn, its front headlight, its brake light and two reflectors at the rear, you will be visible on all occasions, even in low light or at night.
The icing on the cake: the Apollo Air meets the IP66 waterproof standard, which means that this scooter is extremely resistant to water. Ideal for anyone looking for a model that can accompany them in all weathers!

2. Operating instructions:

How to assemble the electric scooter:

The electric scooter will be delivered to you folded, alongside a charger, a key and a user manual. All you need to do is assemble the handle bar on the stem.

So start by unfolding the scooter by lifting the steering column towards the front wheel. Remove the safety pin, then push the column forward. Lift the latch to lock the steering column, and secure it by replacing the safety pin.

Then assemble the handlebars and the brake cables, using the screws provided to secure all the elements.

How to unfold / close the electric scooter:

In order to unfold the scooter, simply pull the metal latch located at the bottom of the handlebars, then unfold the steering column until the latch closes.

To fold the scooter, always switch it off first, then unlock the collar before folding down the steering column. Finally, lock the scooter collar.

How to charge the battery:

Before your first use of the Apollo Air electric scooter, remember to fully charge the battery. To do this, first make sure that the scooter is turned off. Then plug the charger into the mains BEFORE plugging in your electric scooter: you will notice that the indicator light turns red while charging. The battery is then fully charged when the light turns green.

Warning: do not charge the batteries below 5 ° C or above 40 ° C.

How to start the electric scooter:

Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn on / off the Apollo Air.

Please refer to the electric scooter manual for more information on using the display and the phone app.

3. Maintenance and care:

How to maintain the battery:

In order to extend the service life of a lithium-ion battery, it is strongly recommended to keep the charge level of the battery between about 80% and 100%. Do not charge the battery when it is full (do not leave it to charge overnight), and never discharge the battery completely. When you charge your scooter, be sure to connect the charger to the power supply before connecting the electric scooter.

If you store the electric scooter for several months, it is important not to fully charge the battery but to store the electric scooter with a charge level of approx. 60%. Always store the electric scooter in a place protected from moisture and at a temperature of at least 5 ° C.

It can take up to 7 hours to fully charge a Apollo Air. Charging a lithium battery should be done under adult supervision. It is also important that you charge your electric scooter away from flammable materials (fabrics, paper, liquids, etc.). You can find more information about maintaining your battery on our blog.

4. Maintenance and care:

General maintenance of the electric scooter: It is important to check the tight fit of the screws and the brakes very regularly, but at least once a month, as a scooter is exposed to a lot of vibrations while driving. Also remember to check the tire pressure regularly. With this model, it is advisable to inflate the front tire to a pressure of 3.5 bar (50 PSI).

Your electric scooter is cleaned with a damp sponge. Please note that this model is not waterproof. Do not use water or cleaning fluids for maintenance.
