Before your first outing on the road, remember to fully charge the scooter's battery. Thanks to the two charging sockets of this model, you will also have the possibility of dividing the charging time by two: think in this case of getting a second charger for simultaneous use.
The electric scooter is delivered assembled in its box. Remember to fully charge the electric scooter before your first ride. The charging time for this model is around 8 hours, it has two charging sockets and it is therefore possible to order a second charger to cut the charging time in half.
The Scooter VSETT 8+ comes with a charger, a tool kit, three RFID keys and an instruction manual.
To unfold the electric scooter; All you have to do is pull on the metal latch on the underside of the handlebar and unfold the scooter. The lock closes as soon as the handlebar is fully unfolded.
The handlebar height is adjustable between 76 cm and 103 cm on this model. Remember to check regularly that the locking tab is properly tightened to avoid vibrations. The handles can also be folded.
All you have to do is pull out the locking sleeves and flip down the handles.
To switch on the electric scooter VSETT 8+, you have to press the "Power" button for 3 seconds. The display will light up immediately.
Driving speed, battery level, mileage and speed are shown on the display. The RFID sensor is located at the bottom of the display. Remember to present your RFID key on the reader before starting the display. To switch off the electric scooter, press and hold the "Power" button for three seconds.
In order to extend the service life of a lithium-ion battery, it is strongly recommended to keep the charge level of the battery between about 80% and 100%. Do not charge the battery when it is full (do not leave it to charge overnight), and never discharge the battery completely. When you charge your scooter, be sure to connect the charger to the power supply before connecting the electric scooter.
If you store the electric scooter for several months, it is important not to fully charge the battery but to store the electric scooter with a charge level of approx. 60%. Always store the electric scooter in a place protected from moisture and at a temperature of at least 5 ° C.
It can take up to 8 hours to fully charge a VSETT 8+. It is therefore recommended to order a second charger in order to cut the charging time in half. Charging a lithium battery should be done under adult supervision. It is also important that you charge your electric scooter away from flammable materials (fabrics, paper, liquids, etc.). General maintenance of the electric scooter: It is important to check the tight fit of the screws and the brakes very regularly, but at least once a month, as a scooter is exposed to a lot of vibrations while driving.
Your electric scooter is cleaned with a damp sponge. Please note that this model is not waterproof. Do not use water or cleaning fluids for maintenance.
